What is a "learning circle"?

A "learning circle" is a small group of people who get together to learn, dialogue, and create community in a democratic fashion--with a facilitator (teacher). A good group size is 6-8 participants, though groups may range from 5-12 people. The Round Table learning style encourages the discussion and sharing of ideas, which develops confidence and builds communication and leadership skills. The main ingredient in learning a language is communication. Whether you are an infant or an adult, we believe the "learning circle" method is the most effective one. Interacting with your classmates will further your desire to communicate and enhance your ability to comprehend at a faster pace.
